We started working with and training heavy horses 12 years ago. Once we started, we were hooked! We started with only 2 Belgians. They were draft horses trained for driving. We've bought and or trained numerous horses since then.
The horses that we have right now are Sonny, 10 yr
old, and Tylor, 9 yr old, both of which are geldings. These two are our biggest and most
favourite team. We also have 3 other Belgians and a young team of paint
drafts which we are in the process of training.
But, then we can't forget our
pony Spirit too!
DRIVING DIRECTIONS & MAP FROM WINNIPEG:
Travel East along the Trans Canada Highway until you reach Highway No. 12.
Turn South on No. 12 and travel to Steinbach.
At Main Street (Hwy 52), turn left and travel through Steinbach, past the water tower and head out of town toward LaBroquerie.
At Borland Road, turn right and travel aproximately one and a half miles (2.4 km). We are on your left hand side at the hobby farm which has a sign at the driveway which states "Chuck & Jackie Klassen".
